Dr. Kate Roberts is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist who graduated from Boston University in 1985 and from the University of Rhode Island doctoral program in clinical psychology in 1992.She has utilized her skills as a psychologist in a variety of settings. After completing her doctorate, Dr. Roberts worked for two years as a Wilderness Guide at the Hurricane Island Outbound School. Upon returning to more traditional psychology, she worked for 10 years as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Brown University School of Medicine and the Bradley Hospital. After relocating to Massachusetts, she shifted focus again and worked as a management consultant at the prestigious Hay Group in Boston.

Dr. Roberts has worked as a school psychologist and team leader in the Salem and Manchester Essex Regional School Districts. She is a well-known expert in the field of child psychology and has done over 40 interviews with newspapers and the local television news affiliates of ABC, NBC and CBS. She has also published a number of articles in professional journals.

Dr. Roberts lives with her two sons and her husband on the North Shore, where she enjoys traveling, reading, exercise, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
